Martha’s role as an Experiences and Events Executive involves content design, event preparation and post event evaluation.

Martha studied Sociology and Criminology at the University of Leeds. She carried out research in various prisons and developed a deeper understanding of the training and development programmes available in prisons, alongside the impact prison education had on reducing re-offending rates.

After graduating Martha worked for a criminal justice charity organising a variety of events. These ranged from small scale focus groups, to large scale networking events, enabling productive collaboration between service users and service providers.

Martha’s passion for learning led her to begin a graduate scheme with a leading provider of children’s tuition. Here, she worked closely with the training team to design innovative training sessions for internal staff training, alongside working with schools to co-ordinate a range of engaging education based events for schools across London.

Martha is an adrenaline junkie and loves doing all things that scare her! You will find her abseiling, rock climbing or sky diving on weekends.

Strange but true…

Martha has a talent for speaking backwards and her proudest achievement is being able to sing the Ghostbusters theme tune backwards! Sometimes she even does this whilst rock climbing…
