Mia’s role at The Smarty Train sits within the delivery team and involves assisting with the prep and running of events.

Training has been a theme that’s run throughout Mia’s career to date, from training racehorses to teaching children and adults at a riding centre, which she believes all started back in school when coaching the netball team. Mia enjoys working as part of a team to achieve solutions and great outcomes for clients and she is looking forward to delivering learning and development experiences with The Smarty Train.

After organising her year 13 school prom, Mia fell in love with delivering events and she went on to complete a Level 7 postgraduate diploma in event management during lockdown. This allowed her to become experienced in delivering pitches, content and events virtually to clients and is excited to be involved in up-coming projects for The Smarty Train. Mia’s sporty and competitive nature means she works hard at everything she does, ensuring the best results possible.

Strange but true…

It’s true that you can dislocate your nose, but as Mia found out, it’s strange to do it being thrown face-first through a wooden fence from a horse.
