Robert began his design career working in technology doing user experience. He worked for several sectors, including corporate, agencies, education, NGOs and the public sector. Within these spaces he’s worked for every size and shape of company – startup to multinational in size. This includes the likes of Samsung, Visa, Microsoft, TELUS, Lululemon, Nike and the UK government.
The latter half of his career he found his love in a transition to Learning and Development. He has been honoured to build award winning programmes that put the learner at the centre of their own change. He has managed, mentored, hosted, facilitated, consulted on, designed, delivered and spoke on the world of learning design. He has built dozens of programmes on more topics than he can remember, but finds his greatest love in facilitation, DE&I, creativity, soft skills, storytelling and presenting.
Throughout his life, Robert has always had a deep connection to teaching and performing in the world of arts and entertainment. To quote Marie Condo, Robert’s “joy sparks” when he designs things at the cross section of learning and the applied arts. Robert finds his greatest fulfilment when the impact of his efforts results in the betterment of the people around him.
