Challenge
Arup is a British multinational professional services firm headquartered in London which provides design, engineering, architecture, planning, and advisory services across every aspect of the built environment. The firm employs approximately 16,000 staff in over 90 offices across 35 countries around the world.
Following an in-depth review of their Early Talent attraction process, Arup identified the need for stronger connection between Line Managers and their new recruits during the attraction process. This would contribute to reducing anxiety ahead of graduates' and apprentices' start date, support their bonding and integration into the team, and reduce reneges on offers of employment.
TST were approached to design a series of interactive quick-deploy Toolkits that Line Managers could use to help graduates and apprentices feel at home at Arup before they joined, and to leave no doubt that they had made the right decision in accepting their offer.
