Louise joins The Smarty Train with over 30 years’ experience in organisation transformation, strategy and employee development. She works with clients operating against a backdrop of technological, digital and economic change and enjoys helping them support and develop their teams.
With an MSc in organisational psychology, Louise has extensive experience in developing and implementing complex programmes within the public and not-for-profit sectors. She worked at Accenture for 17 years, 12 of which were spent as a Managing Director, where she partnered with a range of public sector clients including the Metropolitan Police, HMRC, West Midlands Fire Service, UK Visas & Immigration and the Ministry of Justice.
She started her career at a Lloyds Broker working in the HR department, back when HR was called Personnel and women weren’t allowed to wear trousers in the office! Working at the Design Council where she developed their first website and also ran a project to redesign Parliament for the 21st Century where a suggestion that MPs work virtually was dismissed as “unworkable”.
